What should I bring? When attending a Queerclimbtastic event, it's essential to come prepared to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. On our discord channel we have a mutual aid channel to help you get items you may not have. Here’s a list of recommended items to bring.: 1. Climbing Gear: If you have personal climbing equipment (harness, shoes, chalk bag, ropes, crash pad, QuickDraws, helmets etc), please bring them along. 2. Comfortable Clothing: Wear moisture-wicking, flexible, and comfortable clothing suitable for climbing. Avoid overly loose garments that can get caught in the climbing equipment. 3. Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is crucial, so bring a water bottle to refill throughout the event. 4. Snacks: Pack some high-energy snacks like nuts, fruit, or energy bars to keep your energy levels up. 5. Sunscreen and Hat: If the event is outdoors, protect yourself from the sun. 6. Positive Attitude: We foster an inclusive and supportive community; bring your enthusiasm and be ready to make new friends. Safety is our utmost priority, reach out to any of the board members to assist with any gear-related questions or climbing techniques. We look forward to climbing with you!
